[edit] Video Games

Working with music producer Winnie Waldron, Phillips has written music for the video games Shrek the Third,[1] The Da Vinci Code,[2] Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,[3] and God of War.[4] Her work on the God of War video game received an Interactive Achievement Award in the category of "Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition" from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.[5] Her work on the God of War video game also received four Game Audio Network Guild Awards, including the "Music of the Year" Award.[6]

She has completed the music for the Speed Racer video game, to be released in May of 2008.[7]

In 2007, Phillips worked with her music producer Winnie Waldron to create a cover version of the theme song from the Super Mario Bros. video game for the compilation CD entitled Best of the Best: A Tribute to Game Music, Volume I, released by GameMusicCentral.[8]

[edit] Literature

As a fantasy author, Phillips has written short stories that have been published in Marion Zimmer Bradley's Fantasy Magazine,[9] and in the Sword and Sorceress XX anthology.[10]

[edit] Radio

From 1992 to 2003, Phillips was the composer, producer and actress in a series of dramatizations of classic short stories, which were first presented on National Public Radio Playhouse under the title Generations Radio Theater Presents.[11] The series was described by National Public Radio as "featuring a top-to-bottom music score that is completely original and fully integrated to the text".[12] The programs currently air on XM Satellite Radio as the Radio Tales series.[13] For her work on this series, Phillips received four Gracie Allen Awards from the Foundation of American Women in Radio and Television (in 2004,[14] 2003,[15] 2001,[16] and 1998), a New York Festivals WorldMedal,[17] and a Golden Reel Merit Award.[18]
