Windows Server 7 is the codename for the next planned major release of Windows Server that will succeed the current Windows Server 2008. An interim R2 release of Windows Server 2008 is planned in the 2010 timeframe. It will be a 64-bit only release.[1] Not much other information has been released yet on Windows Server 7.
