[edit] Example

I know the example is rubbish, but it's something, zoom in to get better quality. --80.229.152.246 19:39, 17 Apr 2005 (UTC) :I have updated the example to one that is much better in my view. --80.229.152.246 20:33, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Unfortunately, the file no longer exists due to server trouble. I also no longer have an offline copy meaning the file is lost forever. It wasn't brilliant anyway so it doesn't really matter. (I don't think anybody actually used it!) --80.229.152.246 14:31, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia Wink tutorial

Someone should make a wink tutorial on how to use the wikipedia website -- Nojer2 09:44, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

I did, but then I lost it.

[edit] Examples

Some nice examples can be found at http://www.opera.com/support/tutorials/flash/

Moreover, the debugmode forum has a post dedicated to Wink examples http://www.debugmode.com/userforums/viewtopic.php?t=3038

[edit] OS X

Anyone know of similar software that runs on OS X?

Well, this software is also on Linux. OSX is based on unix. If you wanted to, I believe you can run it on OS X. I do not have a computer with OS X, so I cannot test it for you

You can also run a VNC connection to an OS/X machine, and capture the VNC session using Wink

[edit] Citations

What's being looked for here? Something which verifies that it produces in multiple output formats? A review or HOWTO for Wink on another web site?

I think they just add that to random parts of all pages these days.89.234.103.196 20:15, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

I thought they were looking for confirmation that it is getting popular or maybe that the popularity is based on its ability to output many formats. I know the Puppy Linux folks use it a lot and I use it but only for making a SWF. Once you've made that presetnation it is easy to export to other formats if one wants. Jeff forssell
