[edit] Uncited Reference

"Many people have cirticized Vista's Calendar software for looking too similar to that of Apple Mac OS X's iCal. Color scheme and all have been dublicated by Microsoft in this new version of Windows Calendar."

The reference above cites no sources, and should be deleted unless one can be found as it sounds like an original opinion. I, even as a lifelong Windows user agree with it, but considering how quickly anti-Mac comments are pulled, we can't have "one standard for them, another for us" going on. Cite it, or remove it.

[edit] Windows 3.1 Calendar?

I'm not too familiar with Windows Vista, but could this be a rework of the Calendar program that came with Windows 3.1? Crystallina 02:25, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Yes, in fact it was part of 1.0. Microsoft seperated it from Windows and bundled it with Office as Schedule+, then merged it with Outlook. IIRC, the Calendar featured in the article was forked from the one in Outlook, effectivly bringing it full-circle. -MarkKB 06:38, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] This program goes all the way back to Windows 1.0

Did you know that Calendar goes all the way back to the original Windows?
