Windischeschenbach is a beautiful village nestled in a farming valley west of autobahn 93. The town is small but offers great restaurants and (in my opinion) the best beer you can find anywhere.

The Beer is brewed near the town center and is called "Zoigl", there are 12 local "stuben" located within Windischeschenbach and Neuhaus that offer this Zoigl on a rotational basis, there is always somewhere to find this beer within these two towns.

The restaurant "Weisser Schwann" also serves this beer and has an excellent German kitchen.

I have lived in Windischeschenbach for over 14 years, now that I'm gone; I miss it very much and appreciate the hospitality and comfort of this place I once called home.
