Windsor Guildhall or more accurately a Town Hall opened in 1689. Night shot showing the east side with statue of Prince George of Denmark installed in 1713. To the right is the 1829 extension.The open ground floor shows the columns famously installed short of the ceiling by Wren as a sop to councillors mistrustful of the strength of Wrens structure. Red brick and stone.
