Note that city media categories are supposed to be for media specifically serving the city, such as local newspapers, local radio stations, etc. They are not meant to contain national media services based on the geographic location of their head offices. National cable channels based in Winnipeg do not belong here unless they include special programming specifically for Winnipeg qua Winnipeg; otherwise, they should be in Category:Companies based in Winnipeg only. Compare Category:Toronto media, which does not include CTV, MuchMusic, TSN, Slice, Showcase, etc. Bearcat 19:24, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
