Willie Gary, born November 1, 1978, is an American football defensive back, who has played in the National Football League for the St Louis Rams, in NFL Europa for the Scottish Claymores, and in the Arena Football League for Georgia Force. He was a member of the 2001 Rams team, who lost Super Bowl XXXVI to the New England Patriots, in 2002. On February 15, 2008, Gary filed a $100 million lawsuit in U.S. District Court in New Orleans, Louisiana against the Patriots, head coach Bill Belichick, and team owner Robert Kraft seeking compensation for that Super Bowl loss.[1]
