Willie Adams

Willie Adams is a Canadian politician. He was born June 22, 1934 in Kuujjuaq, then known as Fort Chimo, Quebec.
Adams, a retired businessman and electrician, is the longest-serving current member of the Canadian Senate.[1] He was appointed by Governor General Jules Léger on the advice of Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, on April 5, 1977, and is a member of the Liberal Party of Canada. He represented the Northwest Territories until the creation of Nunavut in 1999.
