Williamson Road Junior Public School is a public elementary school in the Beaches neighbourhood of Toronto. One notable alumnus of the school was the pianist Glenn Gould.[1]
The school is physically attached to Glen Ames Senior Public School.
In 1985, the school's teacher librarian, Kenneth Zeller, was beaten to death in a homophobic hate crime perpetrated by five youths. Zeller was allegedly cruising for sex at High Park at the time of the incident. The incident was dramatized in a play produced by Buddies in Bad Times theatre.[2]
