William Vanderpuye is a British actor. Vanderpuye has had a long career, mostly consisting of small roles in British television programmes, from the early 1970s onwards. In 1971 he had his first role in the film Melody. Six years later he starred in the infamous Scum as an uncredited student. He has had guest appearances in shows such as Minder, Casualty, One Foot In The Grave, Jonathan Creek and Holby City. In 2005 he had a role as a sergeant in one episode of The Last Detective. That same year he did a voice in Wallace & Gromit: The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit.
