The William Trent House , the oldest house in Trenton was built for William Trent. He founded the eponymous town, which became the capitol of New Jersey. It has served as the residence for several Governors.[3]
Recently, the building has been undergoing renovation including a new visitors center, funded by a grant from the New Jersey Historic Trust.[4] It serves as a historic house museum.
