William Sunsing Hidalgo (born 12 May 1977) is a Costa Rican football player, who currently plays for Carmelita in Costa Rica.
The forward played professionally for CS Herediano, FK Teplice in the Czech Republic, APO Akratitos in Greece , Deportivo Saprissa in Costa Rica, and New England Revolution in the United States. He is a charismatic winger whose trickery makes him a crowd favorite. He was nicknamed "The Menace" during his trip through Major League Soccer.
He has played for the Costa Rica national football team and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He was the beloved player for the crowd and his name was called in every game "The ticos" played on the road to this tournament.
