William Rowan

Field Marshal Sir William Rowan, GCB (June 18, 1789September 26, 1879) was a British military commander, born in the Isle of Man.

Rowan served as Commander-in-Chief, North America from 1849 until 1855. He died in 1879 in Bath, England.
