Dr. William K. Thierfelder is an orthodox Catholic with complete allegiance to the Magisterium. His presidency of Belmont Abbey College, though, is the source of much controversy because he took out contraceptives from the medical policy of the college. Yet, he is highly favored among conservatives for his transforming of Belmont Abbey College.
