William J. Paton
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
William "Willie" Paton, (died 2002), was a Scottish footballer who played for Bo'ness United, Motherwell F.C. and Yeovil Town F.C.. He should not be confused with his namesake Willie Paton, a striker who played for Rangers around the same time.
He was a tenacious tackler who played at wing-half, he never gave in and always played to win. He made eleven appearances for Motherwell between 1947-50, scoring one goal.[1]
