William Duer (1805-1879)

William Duer (March 25, 1805August 25, 1879) was an American lawyer and statesman from New York City. He represented New York in the United States House of Representatives for two terms (1847-1851). Grandson of Congressman William Duer (1747-1799) and Great-grandson of General William Alexander.
