William A. Moseley

William Abbott Moseley (October 20, 1798 - November 19, 1873) was a U.S. Representative from New York.

Born in Whitesboro, New York, Moseley was graduated from Yale College in 1816. He studied medicine and practiced. He studied law. He was admitted to the bar and practiced in Buffalo, New York. He served as member of the State assembly in 1835. He served in the State senate 1838-1841.

Moseley was elected as a Whig to the Twenty-eighth and Twenty-ninth Congresses (March 4, 1843-March 3, 1847). He resumed the practice of law. He died in New York City on November 19, 1873. He was interred in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, New York.
