William 'Billy' Linfoot

William "Billy" Linfoot, inductee to the Polo Hall of Fame in 1994,[1] was a veterinarian, champion polo player, and influential horse trainer.

Among the horsemen whom Linfoot inspired were Marvin Roberts Sr and Pat Parelli of "Natural Horse-Man-Ship" fame. Actor Tommy Lee Jones learned how to play polo by riding with Linfoot.
