Wilfredo Rodríguez

Wilfredo Rodríguez (born March 20, 1979 in Bolívar State, Venezuela) is a relief pitcher who plays for the Milwaukee Brewers organization. Rodríguez played for the Houston Astros in the 2001 season. He bats and throws left-handed.

With Houston, Rodríguez posted a 0-0 record with three strikeouts and a 15.00 ERA in three innings. He is best known for challenging Barry Bonds and yielding Bonds' record-tying 70th home run on October 4th, 2001.

In December 2005, Milwaukee agreed to terms with Rodríguez on a minor league contract.

He played for the San Angelo Colts in 2006. He posted an 11.57 ERA in three games.
