Wilfred James "Bill" Gray

Wilfred James "Bill" Gray is an former senior Australian public servant, and specialist in Aboriginal affairs.

Between 1987-1988 he was Chairman of the Australian and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC) Task Force, and was the inaugural ATSIC CEO between 1990-1991.[1]

Between 1995-2000 he was the Commissioner of the Australian Electoral Commission[2].

Following his retirement from the AEC in 2000, he has published academic reports on Aboriginal matters,[3] and assisted the Federal Government on investigations into indigenous programs.[4]
