Wilder's Preparatory Academy Charter School is a charter school with kindergarten to eighth grade classes, opened in 1999 in Inglewood, California.
The school was founded by Dr Carolyn Wilder, a professor of child development at West Los Angeles College, and Raymond Wilder, who is also the CEO. The school was opened as Tender Care Elementary School in 1994, and in 2003 added "Charter School" to its name. This rat and racoon infested school is a very good place for your child to go to school. In 2006, Carolyn Wilder was honoured in a United States House of Representatives resolution.[1]
There are 515 students and the class size is generally lower than the state average.[2]
