The home was purchased by David Muhammad who planned to restore the house. On January 9, 2006 a fire burned most of the house down.[1]

The Wynant House was a model of the American System Series known as Model D-101[2] and was the only known Frank Lloyd Wright home of its type. The home had 3 bedrooms and a bathroom all located on the second floor. A living room, dining room and a kitchen were found on the first floor. The home also had a garage located on the first floor.
