Dr. William B Russell III is an assistant professor of social studies education at The University of Central Florida (UCF).

Dr. William B Russell III, earned his Ph.D. in Social Science Education from The Florida State University and his M.Ed. and B.A.E. from the University of North Florida. Dr. Russell also taught middle and high school social studies prior to moving into higher education.

Dr. Russell is the author of numerous refereed articles and is currently in the process of publishing two books and one children's book.
