William Alexis, born October19, 1982, in Kuching,Sarawak, is a Malaysian artist. He is best known as the author and artist of the manga FormulaTech published by Borneo Comix since 2006 in Malaysia. He is also notable for introducing Scale System Drawing Technique (ALESYS).

Besides art, Alexis is also a musician. Although not a prolific one, he has so far composed a Jig on classical guitar. However, his greatest accomplishment in music, he said in an interview, is a transcription of JS Bach’s Orchestral Suite No.2-Minuet also for the classical guitar. In the interview, he said: “I couldn’t find a guitar transcription of that piece on the internet. So I tried to transcribe it myself. It was fairly easy because the guitar has the same written range of notes as the clarinet about 3½ octaves starting from E below middle C. That minuet is not on clarinet though. It’s on flute.”

Alexis suffers from Palmar Hyperhidrosis commonly known as Wet Hand Syndrome or sweaty palms.
