[edit] Contesting fact

I am contesting the fact that JPM "made the fastest lap of any circuit in history when he set pole position at Monza with a lap on average of nearly 161mph."

I would argue that Bill Elliott's record of 212 mph at Talladega Superspeedway in a NASCAR stock car is faster.

Rewording needed? Should "circuit" be instead "road course" (which would be satisfactory)? Talladega is a racing circuit, albeit an oval. Guroadrunner (talk) 20:44, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
