[edit] Probable mistake

The year 1708 is quoted in New International Encyclopedia, however, it appears to be a typographical mistake. Likeliest is that 1798 should have been placed into the encyclopedia. GhostofSuperslum 14:31, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

The Joseph Gales article in New International Encyclopedia specified that the year was, indeed, 1798. GhostofSuperslum 16:36, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
