[edit] Merge to WSF III or IV?
The two articles differ on whether he is WSF III or IV. Mpntod 10:37, Jun 21, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] NPOV on the critisism
Should a sentence be added to explain why Farish doesn't think he was a bad ambassdor? Was he not too visible for security reasons (either immediately after 9/11 or because of 7/7 threats?
[edit] Desperately Seeking Cleanup
The "William S. Farish" suite has about 20 titles, probably counting rdrs like WSF IV to WSF III, that are hits in [1]. They may be consistent with each other, but not with the lks to them in two navigational aids. At a minimum,
- harmonize List of people by name: Fam-Faz#Fara - Farl, the Dab William Stamps Farish, and the articles
- answer, at least every place it is already asked, the question asked at Talk:William Stamps Farish IV and elsewhere on this page,
- provide for that answer evidence more compellingly reliable than the partisan, slipshod-edited, and probably contradictory William S. Farish#External links refs.
A truly thorough job would include inspecting any blue lks at Talk:William S. Farish/Farish article list that may have evaded the Google search, and the what-lks-here lks there.

... & weighing Talk:William Stamps Farish. And maybe lking each talk to a talk sub-page that consolidates the ruminations in one place, and expresses a documented conclusion about them.

I started a bit of cleanup on this mostly non-encyclopedic mess but it needs much work. Handicapper 17:46, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
Mr. Farish I'm sure does not own Boca Grande island. He more than likely owns property on the island along with possibly hundreds of other landowners. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.198.208.18 (talk) 06:36, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
