Meanwhile...trying to add to the list of U.S. inventors, I came upon a dilemna. This article has the appearance of two people under one article. Therefore, I am unable to add this article to the category of U.S. Inventors. "William Painter" the inventor of the Crown Cork is an American inventor. The other "William Painter" is a school teacher, translator, and author from a different century. I'm going to add this anyways. Readers beware.
