[edit] Confusion with war hero
Jim Healy used to tell the story that Eckert was elected in part due to confusion. He had a name similar to a WWII hero, and a few teams owners were surprised to learn the man they voted for was not that man. — Randall Bart (talk) 07:59, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
