"Deane and Howard found themselves in the most uncomfortable relationship between a Prime Minister and a Governor-General since Robert Menzies and Sir William McKell in 1949."

A remarkably strong statement, especially considering the events of 1975.

[edit] The Hon??

Whence does he derive the title "The Hon" ?? JackofOz 07:18, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

Former Justices of the High Court are entitled to the prefix "The Honourable". Some of the current Justices have it also, because former Federal Court, Family Court and state Supreme Court judges get it too. I'll have to check, but I think Governor-Generals may be entitled to the prefix "Right Honourable" also. --bainer (talk) 08:20, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
