I can find no printed source that indicates that William Sandys had a middle name. A quick google seach reveals that many sites mention that the middle initial is "B.", but I fear that they are all copying the information from this very page. Can someone come up with definite evidence that he had a middle name, and if so, what was it? Also the sentence about the "current" fashion for Merry England seems to be old fashioned. Was this article copied from Britannica 1911? Ogg 09:38, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
