[edit] Sunday Island

I started Sunday Island as a disambig page. There's apparently[1] four "Sunday Island"s in West Oz. Anyone who wants to establish a name (if not an article yet) for the one Douglas was on should feel free. -- Kevin Ryde 01:49, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

I could only find three in WA named 'Sunday Island'. Interesting though, I'd never heard of the ones near Dirk Hartog Island and Onslow. I think these must be very minor islands: certainly the one that Douglas was on (off the Dampierland Archipelago) is the most famous one (at least in WA or to those interested in Australian languages), and was home to the Sunday Island Mission. I'll try to get an article about it started sometime. Dougg 07:30, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Okay, I've created a (very stubby) article on 'Sunday Island, Western Australia' and fixed links on the Douglas article to point there. Still need an article on the Bardi, though...so many articles to write! Dougg 07:57, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Looks good. -- Kevin Ryde 21:37, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
