I created this page because there are not many like it, and no main resource for wildlife on the islands of Saint Helena on wikipedia. It does however need updating, some of the links are wrong and hundreds of pages need creating for the various species that are found there. There is some overlap with the Flora of St Helena article. Why not call this page the Fauna of St Helena and develop the Flora part in the other article: Flora of St Helena. The Flora and Fauna articles could then be complementary. This seems to me to be the best solution. Alternatively the two articles could be amalgamated??

I have removed much of the listing of flora species as they are already duplicated in the Flora of St Helena article. Maias (talk) 03:28, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
