Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Mathematics/Mathematical intuition

Nice too see this sub project. I see a bit of a link with the Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics/Wikipedia 1.0 sub-project, in terms of how articles are graded, I've developed a special B+ grading for mathematics articles, this is for articles which are nearly good article standard. An important factor of gaining a B+ grade is clarity of explination, explaining the concept in terms which the lay man could understand. While not quite the same as intuition there are sufficient similarities. The focus of wikipedia is now shifting to quality not quantity and it would be great to see more articles reach the B+ or higher grading. --Salix alba (talk) 23:25, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
