[edit] What the French do
For your information, the French Wikipédia deals with articles about Réunion through Projet:Mascareignes. Its scope includes Mauritius and Rodrigues but does not reach Mayotte, for it is only about the Mascarene Islands. By the way, two distinctive portals cover Réunion and Mayotte, one being Portail:Mascareignes and the other Portail:Comores. The latter is a stub and also deals with the Union of the Comoros.
We have one good article and one featured article about what you call French Africa. There are Du battant des lames au sommet des montagnes and L'Âme de la France. Both have been fully translated in English. Thierry Caro (talk) 14:52, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
