The Jets club still has the original minutes from the first meeting at Newtown Town Hall signed by JJ Giltinan and Victor Trumper from the league and holds NSWRL membership number 1 not 2 and given that NSWRL officials were at both meetings why was Glebe not given the number 1 ticket. Where are their minutes and league historians base the asumption of Glebe being number 1 from a SMH report and nothing more.

Did Giltinan, Trumper and others conspire to make Newtown number and if so why?
