The project banner heads the talk page of every article in the Law Enforcement Wikiproject, while the mechanics of the banner itself are somewhat complicated, using it is fairly simple. Instructions for adding ratings to an article, such as Good Article or Stub class, are found on the assessment subpage, and to highlight an article for a peer review, see the peer review subpage.

This non-article page is within the scope of the Law Enforcement WikiProject. Please Join, Create, and Assess. Remember, the project aims for no vandalism and no conflict, if an article needs attention regarding vandalism or breaches of wikiquette, please add it to the article watch list.

The userbox is the standard method by which a user shows that he or she is part of the Law enforcement wikiproject. We strongly prefer that users who join his project take the userbox or membership banner to help identify them.

The Bulletin board is found on the main project page, serving as an easy way for project leaders to get messages and requests out to the community, if you so wish, you can place the bulletin board on your userpage so you don't need to visit the project page to see the news.

At the current moment in time, the Law Enforcement Wikiproject has the mainstream achievement award, which comes in three levels, helpful, excellent and outstanding, and one barnstar. It is up to the awarder to decide what level the actions of another user warrants, though we stress that the outstanding award should be reserved for exceptional contributions over a long period of time. We hope to introduce more awards as the projects grows.

When placing the award, the user can either use the standard accompanying message, or write his or her own specific for the recipients actions.
