• To improve Wikipedia's coverage of Houston by creating, expanding, and maintaining such articles and related portal.
• To serve as the central point of discussion for issues related to Houston in Wikipedia.
• Establish Wikipedia as one of the premier online information resources on the Houston metropolitan area.
