WikiProject Degrassi is an attempt to improve, organize, categorize, and standardize articles about the show Degrassi, and places, characters, and episodes relating to it. This immense project needs many writers, editors, readers, researchers, etc. Anyone with a knowledge/interest in Degrassi is welcome to join this project. Feel free to contact members for help getting to grips with everything.

This project's mother is WikiProject Buffyverse and its father is WikiProject Television.

[edit] Goals

General and long term work going towards gradual expansion of Degrassi articles and WikiProject Degrassi, in order of priority.

  1. Promote and inform people about Degrassi and WikiProject Degrassi to increase membership and the sharing of ideas to better the articles and information present.
  2. Create episode articles similar to Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes/separate episode entries.
  3. Categorize pages in their appropriate categories.
  4. Mark Degrassi-related articles with the WikiDegrassi {{Degrassi}} tag and its discussion pages with the WikiProject {{WikiDegrassi}} tag.
  5. Expand stub articles.
  6. Rewrite and reformat multiple character pages.
  7. Place an appropriate amount of relevant internal links in articles.
  8. Make sure spoiler alerts are abundantly placed in the right places.
  9. Assess all articles to at least B-class, work towards creating more featured articles.
  10. Finish the character description page.

Requests for Degrassi-related content that has not yet been created. Please strike through when requests have been fulfilled. Please provide a short sentence explaining why Wiki needs an article about it.

  • Someone needs to semi-protect Degrassi. 95% of its edits are vandalism, and information is being lost by WP:FAITH anons who don't know how to do a technical revert. Its a high vandalism page because of the audience it targets. Patcat88 07:06, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Adopt an Article

Similar to Wikipedia's own Collaboration of the week (now replaced by the Article Creation and Improvement Drive), but on a smaller scale, you may want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing research, writing, and picture-taking (where possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things, but the idea is to find something that you can focus on for a while in an attempt to raise the number of quality articles produced by the Project.
