WikiProject College Baseball was founded on April 21, 2007. The projects main focus was to create, expand, and perfect all Wikipedia articles pertaining to the world of college baseball.
- The old mission statement
The WikiProject College Baseball's mission was to not only improve all aspects of College Baseball, but all aspects of Wikipedia in general. Their primary mission consisted of 5 points.
- To create pages for each college baseball team consisting of current and historical information.
- To create articles for famous coaches, players, and stadiums.
- To assist all other projects in any way possible.
- To create team pages for every season with detailed up-to-date schedules.
- To make Wikipedia better in anyway possible.
The project fell into activity shortly after establishment with only a couple of editors joining.
