Hello all. My name is Wiki_edit_Jonny and you can probably surmise from that that my real name is Jonny. Unlike many other Wikipedians I don't believe in the whole virtual alias thing because I want people to feel as though they are talking to a real person and not a machine/guise. I am 21 years old and currently attending the University of Gloucestershire where I study English Literature with Journalism. I mostly edit articles concerning things I am interested in, these would be:

• The X Factor (and all sub-articles)
• Leona Lewis
• Harry Potter (and all sub-articles)
• The Lord of the Rings (and all sub-articles)
• Articles on actors and recording artists
• Linking things!

Other interests of mine (though ones for which I do not edit articles) are:

• Film
• Literature, mostly of the novel and dramatic form, from all genres
• Music, of all genres (if it sounds good I like it).
• Art, particularly Jack Vettriano and Cézanne
• Language, particularly French
• Travel
• Popular culture, including comedy (favourite comedians are Billy Connolly, Bill Bailey, Alan Davies and Alan Carr).
• Food and drink (cooking as well as eating!)
• Astronomy, including stars and dark matter (though I am no astrophysicist!).

I am currently living in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire because of academic commitments but my hometown is Bedford, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom. For my undergraduate dissertation I am looking at portrayals of socio-political state of affairs within the dystopian genre, with particular reference to literature on totalitarianism (Nineteen Eighty-Four, We, Brave New World, Darkness at Noon and Fahrenheit 451).
