Distribution of article edits divided into "normal edits", "edits marked as reverts", and "edits that were reverted", for various classes of editors on wikipedia as of late September 2007. These stats are based on 6% sample of all articles. For this sample, reverts were determined by edit comments containing "revert", "rv", "undid", "vandalism" and similar statements. The content that was reverted was presumed to consist of the immediately preceding edit.
