This seems to be a very (very!) long name for a Wikipedia 'clique', and would be a hassle to remember. Is there a shorter name you can use in it's place? --JB Adder | Talk 09:16, 19 September 2005 (UTC)

I think the AWWDMBJAWGCAWAIFDSPBATDMTD was set up as a protest to the m:Association of Deletionist Wikipedians and it's counterpart m:Association of Inclusionist Wikipedians. The name is deliberately a nonsensiscal one to illustrate the spuriousness of such associations, and that people should vote based on the merits of the article and not the deletionist/inclusionist label. Another motiviation for the name is that being "moderate" is usually no fun, so why not spice it up a little with a neat name? For another "moderate" organization with a shorter name, check the m:Association of Mergist Wikipedians. Sjakkalle (Check!) 14:07, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
That's the whole point! It's to dim the seriousness of offencive people that are plain mean. I know when where to turn to when I feeling down after someone deletes my new article or article edit. Unless that's a category... Association of Wikipedians Who Dislike People That Delete Their New Article Edits Without Prior or After Discusion, Now Needing Some Moral Support to Help Cope with the Chocking Stress, Frustration, Sadness, Eventual Maturation and Acceptance, and Who Feal They Still Have Important Information to Add to an Article. ([[Category:AWWDPTDTNAEWPADNNSMSHCCSFSEMAWFTSHIIAA]]) (literally... LOL) :) --CyclePat 02:42, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
I like that one, CyclePat :) riana_dzastatceER • 01:45, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What The Heck?

Sure, just sugar-coat yourselves to make yourselves feel better about being deletonians. 209.195.102.143 (talk) 18:46, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Hmm.. I think this page should be deleted, due to unwieldy acronyms. :) Basser g 00:21, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
FYI - I think that every article on Wikipedia that is made should stay, but not for personal things like bands or yourself - that would make wikipedia a Social Networking Site. 209.195.102.143 (talk) 18:51, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
