Wifflefest is an annual tournament held by the "Illinois Wiffle Association" each year in July. There are two divisions, a recreation and a fast-pitch division for a single day tournament. All information can be found at the new web-site, wifflefest.net.
For anyone who has attended this tournament, now in it's fourth year, there are typically 16+ teams for the fast-pitch division and terrific stats and results kept on the website. For example, Mike Ritti has lead the tournament in HRs for two years in a row. Now, anyone who is there knows he can only hit home runs versus dead-arms and this is a very overrated stat but it does make for fun and a year of childish banter.
