The Widener Partnership Charter School provides Widener students with the opportunity to participate and get involved inside and outside the school to give their service to the community. It gives students that are majoring in education a chance to get inside the classroom and observe to see what they are really going to be doing in only a few short years. Also, future nurses can get a feel as to what they will be looking forward too by helping out in the nurses office.
This charter school educates elementary students from K-5TH grade. The goal of this school is to educate each and every student in the way that they will become component, self-motivated, and life long learners. The program not only focuses on how a child learns, it focuses on the whole child. There is a ratio of 17 to 1 students to teacher in each class. This allows more personal attention to each child. Widener only wants what’s best for the students and their education. By building this new building, it is doing a good job at proving that.
