Talk:Wickecheoke Creek
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Regarding a remark from an editor in the article stating: "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: The Wickechoeke Creek originates in Franklin Township, not Raritan as stated in your definition.", the document "A Summary of FEMA Flood Insurance Studies in the Plan Area" prepared by Delaware River Basin Commission Staff, August 2006, downloadable at [http://www.state.nj.us/drbc/Flood_Website/NJmitigation/FloodInsuranceStudy.pdf] contains the following quote:
The Wickecheoke Creek has its headwaters in the Township of Raritan and flows generally southwest. It enters Delaware Township near its northern corner and continues through the township to the Delaware River.
If you believe Wickechoeke Creek originating in Raritan Township is incorrect, please cite a verifiable source (per WP:Verify) in the article, along with the Franklin Township change. Michael Devore 01:48, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
