"Who's Holding Donna Now" is a 1985 hit single recorded by DeBarge for the Gordy label. It was their second consecutive top ten US hit after the release of "Rhythm of the Night" becoming an easy eighties soft rock favorite. After recording the successful dance single, the group returned to their more comfortable standard of ballads. Relying on outside songwriters and producers, including David Foster, this song was recorded and released as the second single off their fourth album, Rhythm of the Night. This song eventually reached number 2 R&B, number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became their third number-one single on the adult contemporary chart helping their Rhythm of the Night album reached gold status.
