Whitefield Academy is a private school in the Highview area of Louisville, Kentucky. The school is a Baptist ministry of Highview Baptist Church.^[1]

The school was founded in 1976 as Highview Baptist Christian School, and then would later change its name in 1988 to Highview Baptist School when it incorporated a high school program. The name would change to Whitefield Academy in 2003, as to not disassociate those not of the Baptist faith.^[2] The school currently serves pre-school classes through high school classes.^[3]

The students go to school on a 175 school day schedule and has 719 male and female students. The school is apart of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). ^[3]

The Whitefield Wildcats have a broad range of Athletic programs. It has the most common high school sports except for football, lacrosse, and field hockey. The school has a soccer field and baseball field on campus along with two gyms.
