The White-tailed Nightjar (Caprimulgus cayennensis) is a species of nightjar in the Caprimulgidae family. It is found in Aruba, Barbados, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Martinique, Netherlands Antilles, Panama, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland and heavily degraded former forest.
